This drawing was originally supposed to be for a Weedeater poster in Philly. Over the years of being in and out of each other’s pockets the guys in Weedeater always hit me up before the show to make sure I’m coming. I hate showing up empty handed so I try and make a poster for them. This is how it goes with 99% of the bands I work with. One thing led to another and I wasn’t able to complete or attend the last show they played here in Philly. Some people saw the drawing and were enthusiastic about it and so I kept on it as I worked other paintings. After texts back and forth with the Weedeater guys it turns out Dixie has a cat that this dude draws a similarity. So now it’s an art print. “Barnabus Collins”
